Try calling your mortgage lender. Since you have never asked for an extension, they may grant you one. As for telling them about WHY you need an extension, that's iffy. If you tell them it's because of the cash advances you have been getting, that may make you look like a bad risk. You could just tell them that you're having a bit of financial difficulty at the moment. If they pressure you for a reason, you may have to tell them. Please first contact your bank. They may be understanding if this is your first time being late. When you use direct deposit, make sure your mortgage is paid first. THen pay other bills but write down everything so you do not get into a bind again! Your house is too important to lose and mess up your credit!
If you have been getting the cash advance through your bank they will see that as soon as they pull up your account. No use trying to hide it and dig your hole deeper.
